Admissions Information

Coastal Studies for Girls is a 16-week residential academic program for 10th grade girls who apply during their freshman year of high school. CSG accepts applications from girls in the U.S. and other nations, including those currently attending public, independent or home schools.

To receive priority consideration for the FALL 2010 and SPRING 2011 terms, applications are due by March 15th. We will accept applications on a rolling admissions basis thereafter if space is available.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Coastal Studies for Girls, a single gender school, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sexual orientation or national/ethnic origin in its admissions, hiring, educational and financial policies.

Rolling Admissions Policy

Coastal Studies for Girls has a ROLLING ADMISSIONS policy. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and students will be notified of the resulting determination shortly thereafter. Determinations will be based on MERIT.

Students apply in the spring of their freshman year in order to attend CSG during the Fall or Spring Term of their sophomore year of high school. To ensure consideration for admission, all application materials must be received in our office by our priority application deadline, March 15. After this date, we will continue to accept applications and admit students on a rolling basis if space is available.

If you intend to apply for a scholarship, you will need to begin this process several weeks earlier in order to ensure that we receive your forms on time. Please visit the Scholarships page of our website for details.
