Coastal Studies for Girls is a residential academic program for 10th grade girls who apply during their freshmen year of high school. CSG accepts applications from girls in the U.S. and other nations, including those currently attending home, public and independent schools.

Application Process & Dates
Applicants apply to attend CSG for the Fall or Spring semester of their sophomore year.
Download and print our Application for Admission or call or email us to request a hard copy. To ensure consideration for admission, all application materials must be received in our office by April 15 for attendance during the following academic year; applications submitted after this date will be reviewed on a space-available basis. Acceptance letters will be mailed by May 1. To secure your space, Enrollment Agreements and a non-refundable deposit are due on May 15.
Completed application includes:
Application for Admission form (2 pgs)
Application Essay form and essay responses (1 pg. form and ≤ 3 pg essay)
Parent/Guardian Recommendation form (2 pgs)
Academic and Character Recommendation forms (2 sealed envelopes)
Copy of academic transcript from your most recent semester
$20 non-refundable application fee (check should be written to Coastal Studies for Girls)
Transfer of Credit
All academic credit will be awarded by the student’s home school or sending institution. Students will receive comprehensive evaluations for the courses and work they complete at CSG, which will be used by the sending school’s academic office to determine grades and/or credit earned.
