Thanks to the support of many friends, we have welcomed our first class of students to the 1800’s farmhouse that is the heart of CSG campus. As we look to expand the capacity of Coastal Studies for Girls to support more students in coming years, we welcome your inspired gift.

Environmental and Marine Research Strand
Your gift provides resources for students to explore the coastal Maine ecosystem, giving them a foundation in environmental science and Earth stewardship while providing a hands-on experience in marine research.

Materials & equipment: GPS units, specimen tanks, lab stools and tables, plankton nets, dissecting kits, clam boots and hip waders, seining nets, dredges, lab glassware, lab sink, fume hood, reference books, calculators, electronic scales, compound scopes, water sampling and testing kits

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leadership Strand
Your support helps offer opportunities for students to discover and realize their full potential by challenging their minds and bodies, cultivating their natural leadership abilities and inspiring the will to make a difference.

Community Life and Core Academics Strand
Your donation helps furnish and create a sense of “home” in the school farmhouse--CSG’s hub and the physical heart of campus--and provides resources to support our outstanding faculty and core academic classes.

The endowment is the foundation for CSG to build lasting financial strength and ensure academic quality. Once in place, the endowment will provide permanent support for teaching, research, community life, and student financial assistance. CSG provides opportunities to link your name, or a name honored by you, in perpetuity through the establishment of an endowed fund.

Scholarship Endowment: CSG is committed to need-blind admissions, creating a diverse community, and offering as much financial assistance as possible. We depend on the generosity of friends to help provide this assistance through scholarship funds.
