Weekends

Weekends offer further opportunities for students to practice the lessons and skills they have learned during the week, as well as to explore the historical, cultural and ecological richness of Maine. Students and teachers engage in Friday and Saturday field trips that allow students to explore their academic interests in greater depth. Whether it is hosting a coffee house, navigating a ropes course, or tromping through mudflats, our students are on an enriching adventure to deepen their understanding of a subject through experiential learning. Sundays at the farmhouse are a day during which students rest, reflect, play and study to prepare for the week ahead.
