Weekends offer further opportunities for students to practice the lessons and skills they have learned during the week, as well as to explore the historical, cultural and ecological richness of Maine. Students and teachers will work together to plan Saturday field trips that will allow students to explore their academic interests in greater depth. Several weekends will be devoted to Leadership Adventure, in which students will work in teams to plan and lead outdoor challenges, with teachers providing support and guided reflection. When not travelling, the CSG community will use Sundays for rest, campus and dorm clean-up, community meetings, and personal reflection and correspondence with home.
